History
It was the year 1989 when the late Anthoulla Claud founded the Greek community of Maidstone & District. Not knowing many Greek Orthodox people in this area, her task was very challenging. Anthoulla started searching for Greek residents in the area in the phone book. She decided to call everyone who had a Greek sounding name and spoke to start the community.
She was successful. Thanks to Anthoulla Claud and also father Pazinas (Christ the Saviour church, Welling) who helped with this challenge. We now have the Greek Community and regulary meet up for Church service at St Mary's in Boxley.
Greek Orthodox Easter Services 2024
The Greek Orthodox Church of The Annunciation of the Mother of God will be holding Greek Orthodox Easter Services on:
Palm Sunday, 28th April 2024 at 11am;
Holy Thursday, 2nd May 2024 at 7pm;
Good Friday, 3rd May 2024 at 7pm;
Easter Saturday, 4th May 2024 at 10 am and at 11pm.
Easter Sunday, 5th May 2024 at 11 am.
